Kaolin is a mild clay, which doesn't deplete the skin of oils so, it also works well for all, including dry skin types. Gentle exfoliation, skin cleansing and skin circulation are some of its attributes. Great for soaps, masks, scrubs and wonderful in powders. Our tester had this to say- "Approved for use in cosmetics, this Kaolin is the smoothest I have ever felt.....and I "felt" a bunch of Kaolins to pick this one.....some are really grainy, some are smooth...you will want the smoothest for powders....(obviously?) The sea clay, the rose clay or the kaolin can be used in soaps....I use between 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce per 5-8 lbs of oils |

The small amounts of extra fine can be used in soaps as an exfolient for face, hands, feet and elbows. Combine the extra fine pumice with the 1-1/2 scrub size for great gardeners soaps, mechanic paste & bars. The larger 1-1/2 size helps remove the large debris while the extra fine adds the cleaning power to get all of the grime out of the little cracks and lines of the hands. The combination of both is the secret to a good cleaning bar. Use the scrub size alone for a great foot scrub that requires no cleaning power. |

Rhassoul Clay (micronized). The clay comes from Morocca in the Atlas Mountains. Rhassoul Clay has the ability to absorb oil and impurties from the skin. It is used in hair products as well as skin product. |
